What is AutoSolve Companion?
AutoSolve Companion is AYCD's mobile app. The app allows you to connect your Android or iOS device with AutoSolve/OneClick, giving you the power to redirect captcha requests to your mobile device or tablet.
The primary purpose of the AutoSolve Companion app is to enable you to direct captcha requests to mobile devices through companion keys, which are created similarly to API keys on the AutoSolve dashboard.
At the moment, the iOS app is only available through TestFlight. To use this, you will need to fill out This Form and also have a valid AutoSolve subscription to utilize the iOS Beta. Android devices will be able to load it through the Toolbox.
Downloading & Installing AutoSolve Companion:
The download and installation process is different between iOS and Android devices, so be sure that you pay careful attention to the steps required for each device type below.
iOS Download & Installation
- Before beginning, you will need to install the Test Flight mobile app from the Apple App Store. If you are on mobile, you can do so by clicking here.
- Then you can fill out this Google Form. You will need to provide us with your iCloud Account email, as you cannot be invited to test flight without one. You will also need to provide your AYCD account email to verify your AutoSolve subscription and a bit more information. You can fill out that Google Form here. Within a 24-48hr period of time, you will receive an email from the Test Flight program with the ability to view the app in Test Flight.
- When you click on the link there it will bring you to a page where it has the code you will need to redeem in the Test Flight app.
- Once you copy that code over and hit redeem, it will add the application to your phone allowing you to open the app and receive updates. After this, please continue to Setting Up AutoSolve Companion.
Android Download & Installation
The android installation is available all the time as it is loaded onto your Phone through the Toolbox rather than through a Test Flight app. Before you can connect your Android device with the Toolbox, you will need to enable some settings for Developer mode on your Phone. To enable Developer mode please follow the steps below:
- Go to Settings on your Android Device, and click on About Phone or About on some devices you may already see the Build Number option. But if you do not you may have to further click on Software Info, or Software information in order to reveal the Build Number field.
- After you have found the Build Number, you will need to click on it repeatedly, usually 7 times, until the dialog appears, saying "You are now a developer!"
- After receiving the message, the next thing you will be looking for is Developer Options. This is usually under settings but can be located elsewhere, depending on your android device.
- Within Developer Options, you will need to enable USB debugging as without it enabled you will not be able to install the AutoSolve Companion.
With those steps completed, you can move onto the Toolbox portion of the Installation.
- To install AutoSolve on your Android device, you will need to go to the Mobile Apps category of the Toolbox found under Desktop Apps. At this point, you will need to connect your Android device to your computer and then tap the refresh icon. If your phone does not appear after hitting the refresh button, you may need to try and adjust the USB Options which show in the notification bar then clicking on refresh again.
- After you Refresh, you should see your device name down there, the version of Android, and a bit more information. From there, hover the app icon and click download. This will Install the AutoSolve Companion app to your device.
- If you go to your app drawer where the apps install, you will see the AutoSolve app.
Setting Up AutoSolve Companion:
Generating a Companion Key
In order to generate a Companion Key, you will need to go over to your AutoSolve dashboard. You can access this through the Account Section or with the Go To Dashboard button inside of OneClick. Once on the dashboard under the AutoSolve Companion Keys section, press Create.
You will have to set a name for the key. It is best to use a name that you will be able to easily identify in the future in order to make things easier to keep track of.
Configuring The AutoSolve Companion App
Once you have downloaded the app you will be met with a screen below and a box asking you to input your companion key. Once you input your Companion Key it will try to connect and as long as you entered a valid key you will see the Key Name that you set back on the dashboard appear. Before you can connect to the solver using the slider at the bottom, you will need to go over to OneClick in order to enable Companion Solving.
To enable the use of the Companion Solver you will need to have created a Companion Key on the dashboard and then to click the Enable Companion Solver button in OneClick.
With that enabled, you should now see Companion under the Priority section, where you will be able to set the priority and Connect AutoSolve. Connecting AutoSolve with the Companion will allow you to send requests from your bots to your Companion Keys.
Switching back over to the app once you use the slider to connect the Companion app to AutoSolve you will be greeted with the screen on the left, and you will have options to go back to the previous screen, log in to your Google Account, or to clear an incoming request.
