GCP Limit Increase Guide
The purpose of this guide is to assist you in increasing your proxy creation limit with Google. There is no guarantee on getting your proxy limit increased as quota increases need to be approved by Google. But this guide will assist you in the where and how of submitting a request. It will help you collect the information you need as well as provide some suggestions for a request description.
First, you will need to head over to your Cloud Console. From here you will need to ensure that you have your project selected from the top left-hand corner. Ensure you have a billing profile set up for this project.
After you have selected your project you can go over to the quotas tab either by clicking here or following the path to the left here. IAM & admin > Quotas.
From here you should see a Quotas screen displaying some of the different services and things that GCP provides.
From here along the top there are some search flags that we can use to narrow down our search. Use the filter to search for Compute Engine API. This works best when you have actively running GCP proxies to make the one you are looking for easy to spot.
Once you have this selected you should be able to see In-use IP addresses global, select the quota on the right-side, and then press Edit Quotas.
Once you press Edit Quotas a sidebar should appear with the New Limit and the request description. Here you will be able to submit the new limit you are requesting, and a description of why you need it. You can write something comprehensive or short. People typically request a higher limit saying testing for a school project or required for a test client for a school project, or that you are creating a new account for production workload if it is possible to increase the limit to the new number. Feel free to get creative. Once you have put in all the information click on Next.

Once you have submitted the request you should see the screen here showing your request a case number and then they should send you an email. Navigate back to the Quota Menu, Filter again by Compute Engine AP, and go to Page 2. On-Page 2 there will be the In-use IP addresses, click All Quotas.
Once you have click All Quotas you will then see a page that contains all your regional limits, select the regions you wish to increase, and then click Edit Quotas.
Similar to the global limit, fill out the required information, and then submit the request. Once you have submitted your request you should see the screen here showing your request a case number and then they should send you an email. Then with a little bit of luck, you should get your request approved!
