Profile Builder - Accounts - Tasks - Import / Export

Introduction

You can import and export your account credentials via CSV or copy/paste format.

  • You can obtain the Profile Builder > Accounts CSV format by manually creating a task in Profile Builder, selecting it, and exporting it. 

Import Account Tasks (CSV)

1. Navigate to the Tasks section of Accounts. This section looks like a pirate ship steering wheel titled Tasks when you hover over the section.

2. Click the File button, then the Import button to select the CSV option.

3. By default, tasks are imported in the All Category. You can override this and specify a category name to import your task(s) into a unique category.

4. Click the blue spreadsheet icon. The file explorer will open, and you can select the CSV file you want to import. You can create a copy of the example format by manually creating one account and following the instructions below to export the account.

5. After configuring the dialog, click the Import button. A dialog will appear asking if you want to edit your tasks. If you want to edit your tasks, click the Yes button.

6. After editing your tasks, click the Save button. The tableview will display your tasks.

Import Account Tasks (Copy/Paste)

1. Navigate to the Tasks section of Accounts. This section looks like a pirate ship steering wheel titled Tasks when you hover over the section.

2. Click the File button, then the Import button to select the Copy/Paste option.

3. By default, tasks are imported in the All Category. You can override this and specify a category name to import your task(s) into a unique category.

4. Specify the Task Type to assign to your tasks.

5. Input your account credentials to the Copy/Paste field.

6. After configuring the dialog, click the Import button. A dialog will appear asking if you want to edit your tasks. If you want to edit your tasks, click the Yes button.

6. After editing your tasks, click the Save button. The tableview will display your tasks.

Export Account Tasks

1. Navigate to the Tasks section of Accounts. This section looks like a pirate ship steering wheel titled Tasks when you hover over the section.

2. Select the tasks you want to export to a CSV. Then click the File button, then the Export button.

3. A dialog will appear asking if you want to proceed. Click the Yes button if you want to proceed.

4. A dialog will appear asking if you want to open the exported file's location. Click the Yes button if you want to proceed.
