OneClick - Tasks - Mail Credentials - Create / Import / Export

Introduction

Mail Credentials are used when your accounts encounter an email OTP code challenge during login, when changing recovery email, and when forwarding gmail accounts. You can add your IMAP mail credentials to OneClick to automate this process.

Setup & Recommendations

  • The setup for each email provider differs, so we have created separate sections of the guide for most providers. Click here to learn more about setting up email providers.
  • You can use the Transfer From App button to automatically import your credentials if you have IMAP Mail credentials saved in another Toolbox application, such as Profile Builder, Inbox, or TabSentry.

Create Mail Credentials

1. Navigate to the Mail Credentials section of OneClick in Tasks. This section has an email icon titled Mail Credentials when you hover over it.

2. Click the File button, then click the Create button.

3. The Create Provider Credentials dialog will appear.

4. By default, Mail Credentials are created in the All Category. You can override this and specify a category name to have your Mail Credentials created into a unique category.

5. Optionally, you can specify a proxy to use when connecting to the mail provider. Most mail providers are not strict with proxies, and they are not required.

6. Specify the provider of your email account.

7. Input the Email/Username of your mail credentials.

8. Input the Password of your mail credentials. Usually, you will need to use an App Password. Click here to learn more about setting up an app password and enabling IMAP.

9. After configuring the dialog, click the Save button.
