Introduction
You can run the Mail Scraper on existing templates to extract data from your emails. You can view the extracted data in the Scraped Data tab after selecting the template or in a CSV form.

Run Mail Scraper
1. Navigate to the Emails section of Inbox in Mail. When you hover over it, you will see an envelope icon titled Emails.
2. Select the email from which you want to create an AI Mail Scraper in the tableview.
3. Click on the Tools button at the top right of the view or right-click the email from the table and click on Tools. This will bring up the Tools dialog for Inbox.
4. Select the Run Mail Scraper Template option.
6. The Run Mail Scraper dialog will appear. From here, you can select the template(s) that will be used to export the selected items.

If you select an AI Scraper Template, the Run Scraper AI - Confirmation dialog will appear. This dialog will tell you how many tokens running the scraper will cost. You receive 1,000,000 tokens per 30 days from AYCD. If you need more tokens, you can add your own OpenAI API key in Settings > ChatGPT Service.
7. We recommend enabling the Show results dialogs after completed checkbox. A dialog will appear after your data is scraped, telling you which emails were successfully scraped and which failed to scrape.
8. After selecting your mail scraper template(s), click the Export button.
9. You can view the status of all your Inbox tasks by clicking the Running Background Tasks button on the top right of Inbox.
10. The results dialog shows your selected emails, and which ones were successful or failed.
11. The completed dialog confirms your data was successfully exported.
12. After you have exported Mail using a Template, you can view the exported data either by clicking on the folder icon in the Scraper Templates tab or Navigating to the Scraper Data section and selecting your Mail Template in the Scraper Template(s) dropdown. Your exported data will populate in the Scraper Data section.
13. You can choose multiple Scraper Templates to aggregate your data in one table view. You can export your Scraper Data via CSV by clicking File, then the Export button. Click here to learn more about Scraper Data.
