Introduction
Creating New Profiles from Virtual Cards and adding Virtual Cards to Existing Profiles is the quickest way to swap cards between drops and build a complete billing profile.
Setup & Recommendations
- Before Creating New Profiles or Adding to Existing Profiles, you must Generate or Import Virtual Cards to Profile Builder.

Creating New Profiles
1. Navigate over to the Virtual Cards section of Profile Builder in Profiles. This section has the credit card icon titled Virtual Cards when you hover over it.
2. Select the virtual cards you want to use to create new profiles from in the table.
3. Click on the Tools button at the top right of the view or right-click on the table and click on Tools. This will bring up the Tools dialog for virtual cards.
4. Click the dropdown and choose Create New Profiles.
5. Click Start.
6. This will open the Create New Profiles dialog. Here you can specify the Profile Information that you want to use with the selected cards.
7. If you have an existing Profile you want to model this after, you can use the Use Existing Profile button toward the bottom of the dialog. You can select a Profile and it will import that data into the dialog. If you have an expression Template created, you can also use Expression Templates here.
8. If you are creating the data manually and have selected multiple cards, you should try to use Expressions so that you can jig the profile data more efficiently.
9. By default, the Profiles Amount will be 1 for Creating New Profiles, meaning that 1 Profile will be created per selected card. If you want to create multiple profiles per card, you can change this value.
10. After you have finished configuring the profile, you can use the Save button in the bottom right of the dialog to Create New Profiles using the selected Virtual Cards.
11. After successfully creating them, you can find your new Profiles under the Profiles section. In the Virtual Cards table, you can also see which Virtual Cards are already assigned to Profiles using the Profiles Column.
Add to Existing Profiles
1. Navigate over to the Virtual Cards section of Profile Builder in Profiles. This section has the credit card icon titled Virtual Cards when you hover over it.
2. Select the virtual cards you want to use in the table.
3. Click on the Tools button at the top right of the view or right-click on the table and click on Tools. This will bring up the Tools dialog for virtual cards.
4. Click the dropdown and choose Add to Existing Profiles.
5. The Virtual Cards you selected will be shown in the dialog. Use the Select Profile Categories dropdown to select the Profiles Categories you want to have updated with the selected Virtual Cards.
6. If you have specified more Billing Profiles than you have selected Virtual Cards, you will see a dialog notifying you that some of the cards may be used on multiple billing profiles.
7. After you have confirmed, you can also see which Virtual Cards are already assigned to Profiles using the Profiles Column.
